-
Great food and an AMAZING deal. The buffet lunch is insanely good and well priced.
-
Rafael is a nice host. The food was fantastic. I went with lamb curry, my wife went with chicken tikka masala. The atmosphere was cozy. Lots of awesome vibes.
-
Best Indian food in WPB. I love this place and visit for lunch every day Im in town!
-
The Chef Special Biryani was nothing short of incrediblearomatic, perfectly spiced, and layered with flavors. The dosa was also outstanding. This is a place where food is crafted with passion and care. If youre craving authentic flavors, this spot is a must. Ill definitely be back to explore even more of the menu.
-
Exquisite taste. Comfortable homey vibe. Loved the food

Its so nice to start doing a review. I had no intention of doing when I came here for lunch today.
Full disclosure over the past three years Ive eaten here many times Ive always felt it was pretty average for Indian restaurants, and the atmosphere may be a little gloomy
Today when I walked in, the restaurant looks beautiful
Maybe its because the tables are all set. Maybe the lights are a little brighter
But it just feels clean and bright, with a relaxing atmosphere.
To my pleasant surprise, they had a goat curry on this Wednesday afternoon lunch buffet.
Im used to not seeing goat on Indian Buffet unless its the weekend. A good reminder to always check the buffet completely before you start filling your plate. (I took a piece of tandoori chicken I would not have) Id also put some of the butter chicken sauce over it and for the record it was delicious
But for me, it is not Malik with goat curry!
The Gobi was delicious. The goalie was perfect and as good as Ive ever had anywhere.. They also had a zucchini vegetable dish. I did not catch the name of the spices, but a zucchini could always be this good. I would eat a lot more of it..
Its relatively easy to serve lunch, but the fact is Service could not have been better
From a nice greeting seated at a nice table that I chose, and they were very attentive with my beverage and refill my water. They were sure I had lemons for it as I had requested, and they brought none from the kitchen, which I wish I had thought to tell them Not to make for me since I did not want to fill up on bread with this great food !
A wonderful assortment of desserts too, especially for a weekday and a very reasonable price.
Is good or better than any other Indian restaurant Ive been at from Boca Raton to Wellington.
I will get it back on my regular circuit for lunches for sure -
MANGO LASSI!!! Ashu and Cherri are so sweet and gave us an extra samosa!
-
(Translated by Google) The girls at the place are very friendly. The bread, as they call it, is very good. The food is good for getting away from the routine and trying different dishes. I like lamb, and it's very good. There's a buffet at lunchtime. But they also have a menu that you can order, but they don't serve beef.

-
Very good Indian cuisine! You can't go wrong!
-
Highly recommend the butter chicken with garlic naan, it's one of my favorite dishes.
-
Food is good but needs more character. Vindaloo dishes weren't spicy at all.
-
I dont understand why this place isnt full! The food was really good with generous portions, and the server was very friendly.
-
Love India and the food. Here so good mmmmm fresh authentic and India owned!!
-
One of my family's favorite go-tos! We order take-out a lot, because the food is delicious, but whenever we go in I'm reminded how caring the staff is and what a funky little vibe it has. Definitely recommend.
-
Wow! I am so impressed with this restaurant.
Rafael and his staff went above and beyond and were so accommodating. The food was fantastic. I will be coming back and I highly recommend. -
A GEM - YOU SHOULD EAT HERE. Flavor of India has been at this location for a very long time offering both take-out and dine-in experiences. Either way, the food will convince you to come back again and again. I cant say enough good things really about how very good this restaurant is. Service = impeccable. Food = A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Very comfortable and attentive service with a smile. I would ask for Indian/South Asian music rather than classic American hits, but thats me. It wont stop me from returning for the great food.
-
Excellent food and service!
-
My family had buffet and food were great. I recommend this restaurant.
-
We usually eat from this restaurant about twice a month. We usually go through Uber eats, however, this time we picked up our order. The host Rafael was so accommodating. I am currently eight months pregnant and he made sure that I was comfortable while waiting for my food. He even told me to go sit in the car and he would bring the food out to the vehicle which I had someone waiting for me in the vehicle. That alone is such upstanding service that I needed to let everyone know.
-
Food was amazing! The butter chicken, the chicken, curry, and the shrimp masala we had two appetizers. I cannot remember the name but one was like fried onions and one was a potato ball. It was just so good and the waiter Rafael was amazing and they brought out a dessert for my sons birthday and we did not even ask. It was very very nice. Thank you so much highly recommend.
-
Excellent service and very good food with a buffet with variety

Great experience! We came here after playing pickle ball and really enjoyed the food and service. Soooo good. We got the butter chicken, saag paneer, and garlic naan. We will be back!
-
Dinning at Flavor of India was the best service Ive ever experienced. Raphael ensured my boyfriend and I had the perfect appetizers, meal, and dessert. The food tasted outstanding. Im not sure if this was on purpose, but the music changed from Indian, to 80s love songs and it made my boyfriend and have a good laugh because we thought it was so sweet for our date!! Not to mention the set up of the restaurant has so much character and thought put into it. We will definitely be dining here again!
-

-
Amazing restaurant I come here all the time with my girlfriend and sister. The waitresses/owner are always so nice and they offer complementary food and discounts to frequent customers. Always worth the visit if youre in the area.
-
Easily the best experience Ive had in south Florida. Rafael took amazing care of me and my family. We all split dishes and had the non-veggie appetizer plate.
Not only was the food delicious but Rafael and the team took very good care of us. Brought us over a handful of items to try on the house like mango dessert and a delicious cucumber salad.
Dont miss out, make your way over. Very good
-
great ambiance! Beautiful decor, excellent service. The Roti was perfect and we definitely will be come back!
-
Everything was so fresh and flavorful. I loved my tandoori chicken, which arrived to the table on a sizzling platter. My friend ordered butter chicken that was super tender and delicious. Another friend got the Chana masala so fragrant with spices, and especially yummy with the garlic naan, which was clearly house-made fresh for our table. Rafael was our very kind and attentive server. He treated us to a deluxe dessert in honor of my friends birthday. We will definitely be back!
-
A MUST GO!!! We were only in the area for the night and stopping in was the best decision we made. The best customer service and full course meal you can get anywhere. Our server was so kind and everything from the beer to the desert was perfect, 10/10. You have to stop on in, I promise you will not be disappointed
-

-
Amazing Indian buffet! My wife and I went for the lunch buffet, and I enjoyed everything. My favorite dish was the Tandoori chicken and the cabbage. Great environment, great service, and great food! All at a fair price
-
(Translated by Google) The girls in the place are very friendly. The bread they call very good. Good food to get out of the routine and try different foods. I like sheep and it is very good. There is like a buffet at noon. But it also has the menu however you want to order a but it does not serve beef.

My wife and I have driven past this restaurant hundreds of times and we finally gave it a go. Had the butter chicken with samosas, followed by a special dessert. Our server Rafael was great and made sure we were taken care of. Great atmosphere, the food was phenomenal. Well be back soon!
-
Wonderful experience. My husband and I decided to stop by and check it out. We ordered the butter chicken, chicken tandoori (unbelievable flavor!!!!), veggie samosas, and a fried chicken appetizer. Dessert was super interesting and delicious (it was sort of like a minty donut).
Service was EXCEPTIONAL. Thank you, Raphael! We will certainly be back!

-
The Indian Lunch Buffet was really a feast for some one who is starving for Flavour of Indian Dishes for a nominal price.
Mohamme Jafar is incredible, in helping with selecting dishes right for your taste buds.
-
Went here with my family last week, we each ordered a different dish and shared. Everything was DELICIOUS!! The service was excellent too. I think I could live off of the garlic naan for the rest of my life and be perfectly happy. One of our new favorites for sure!
-
I found the flavor delicious and the dishes were well prepared. But what really gave it 5 stars was how friendly and courteous both the hostess and the cook were, smiling, very pleasant. It was a little spendy but worth it for me, will absolutely come back again!
-
Stopped in for the nice buffet lunch. This is one of the few places that offers one now. The food here is a solid 7 out of 10. The naan and chicken curry are excellent. The goat curry and tandoori chicken are ok. Service here is fantastic. The people are incredibly friendly and nice. So 3.5 stars for food and 5 for service make it a 4 overall.
It's worth a trip here. I recommend this restaurant. -
The waiter, Rafael was very helpful with describing the menu questions that I had. This was my first time at the restaurant and I will definitely be back soon!
-
By far, it is the most tasty Indian restaurant on the East Coast of WPB. You order all your favorites, the flavors are out of this universe, and then the bill comes, and it is surprisingly affordable!! We come back over and over. And we become happy campers every damn time. Atmosphere is ok, but the food speaks for itself. And the workers are sooo very kind. 10/10 highly recommend.
Our favorites:
Masala Dosa
Butter Naan
Mango Lassi
Chicken curry
Tandoori Chicken platter -
Great experience and the service was excellent. Our server, Raphael, was attentive and very knowledgeable about Indian cuisine.
-
Everyone was really polite. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the recommendations were on point.
-
Fantastic service and delicious food!
-
Brought my mother to this restaurant. We had a great dinner! The tandoori chicken burst with flavor. The chicken tikka masala was creamy and savory. The vegetable samosas were crispy. Raphael and his team treated us like royalty. We will definitely return for the great food and the kind service. Perhaps the best Indian restaurant in Palm Beach county, hidden in Lake Worth. 10/10 would recommend.
-
The food was fresh and delicious. Rafael was very attentive and friendly. I'm definitely coming back. I recommend to everyone

First of all the food here is always the best around, and the service is phenomenal. I always ask for Raphael. He is an exceptional server. He is very attentive and extremely nice. I have been coming for years and he has always taken great care of me. Go check this place out if you haven't yet. You will not be disappointed.
-
Our waiter, Raphael was amazing. He recommended some great dishes because it was our first time. Food was fresh and good. We had enough to take home. Great place.
-
It's not often you can find an affordable, filling meal in Palm Beach County --especiallya good one! As someone who checks out the Indian cuisine in each city I travel to, this one is among the tops. But what really solidified the memory was the service; my man Rafeal made us feel seen and valued. Give Flavor of India a shot!
-
I tried this place during Covid restrictions and was not impressed. But, I went back recently in person and must say that this place is amazing. The food was all delicious, the service was incredible, and we had an overall wonderful meal. It's hard to find places with authentic dosas, but this place knocked outta the park.

We have been coming here for years and love the food and service. Rapheal is amazing and answered all of our menu questions (we have dietary restrictions). The food came out quickly and was exactly what we wanted. Portions are generous and the flavor of the food is excellent! We loved the red and gold decor of the interior - it feels like you are celebrating while you enjoy your meal. Return costumers for life!
-
Pleasant experience all around, with delicious food and even complimentary gulab jamun to top it off.
-
The food is great every time and the service is always great as well.
-
True indian cuisine and atmosphere
-
Ive ordered from here many times over the years but this was my first time dining in. The food was great and the waiter made sure I got exactly what I ordered which was a mix of things on the menu. The tables are pretty with the plates and drinks are set out. its a small restaurant and I could hear lots of conversation.
-
Such a nice Indian restaurant! I loved most of the foods here, especially the tikka and chicken karahi.
-
I was privileged to be invited to a birthday celebration this past weekend at Flavor of India and I was absolutely amazed at how lovely and elegantly this event was prepared. The table settings were beautifully set China and the servers were plentiful, upbeat, cheerful and most importantly, readily available. The food was excellent, flavorful and the variety fulfilled everyone's culinary needs. The staff was so very accommodating to the "birthday girl" by creating extraordinary & artful dessert platters that were the delight of the party !! Many thanks to Flavor of India !! Can't wait to go back very soon.. DEFINITELY highly recommend !!!
-
Amazing food and even better service. Far too often I find a place with my favorite cuisine but the service isnt always up to par. This place is an exception where I get can get both. Rafael was an amazing server and Ill def be back to get another chicken curry and taj Mahal.
-
Had an excellent anniversary dinner here with my girlfriend. They truly provided an above-and-beyond experience. Rapheal was attentive, courteous and gave us a complimentary salad and desert. The food was incredible as well. The chickpeas in our samosa chat were some of the most tender Ive ever had, and the naan was perfectly crunchy. I had chicken tikka which was perfectly spiced. This was our first time going, now Im sad that weve never stopped by before!
-
First time at Flavors of India and it was the best Indian Restaurant I have ever been too! I decided to surprise my boyfriend for our anniversary and take him here so I called the day before to let the restaurant know about my special plans for dinner. Raphael who I spoke to was quick and kind to help me make the day super special for us. He went above and beyond and made our experience so magical and romantic. I felt like a fancy princess with fine dinning. He started us off with super yummy salads before we ordered our meals, which was delicious and surprised us with dessert. Raphael was helpful in every way and all the staff were sweet and kept congratulating us it was so cute. I have to say from getting a beautiful decorated table, the amazing food, and the wonderful staff, overall the whole experience was unforgettable and I will be coming here again. Thanks to Raphael and the staff, I had the best 4yr anniversary ever.

Will be going back this Friday (6/16/23) for the buffet again! If you want to try some great Indian food at an affordable price, give them a try yourself...

Please venture into this side of the world to enjoy the Flavor of India! You will be pleasantly surprised of the taste.

This the best Indian restaurant in Florida! My friend & I have had Indian food in Brooklyn, New York. From the quality to the service it was on point. The food was amazing, flavorful & just like our NYC experience. Ask for our server, Raphael, he was very attentive, welcoming, genuine & open to any question we had for him. He assisted us with our decision for our order, gave us complimentary desserts & mango Lassi to show his appreciation. Raphael is a kind hearted, hardworking & thoughtful individual that made our experience fun & we'll definitely be coming back for another round of dinner or the lunch buffet!!
-
One of my favorite restaurants. Rafael is lovely. Highly recommend this restaurant!!!!
-
DONT WALK RUNN!!! By far the best Indian food place in FLORIDA. I use to love eating Indian food when I lived in New York but i couldnt find any that came close to what I was used to Rafael Was the best server/ host, service was definitely top tier and will highly recommend. I had the lamb Masala and the lamb karahi and both dishes were 10/10. This will definitely be my new spot for great tasty Indian food
-
Very consistent, good food and great service! Place truly has an authentic feel and is very reasonable.
-
Food is excellent, not usually crowded, and fast and accurate service! Raphael was our waiter and very attentive and personable.
-
My wife and I have been to a lot of Indian restaurants in the area and Flavor of India is by far the best one.
Hopefully when you go, Rafael will be your waiter. He is great.
-
Loved the Dance Party, Saturday.
-
This little hidden gem located in Lake Worth Beach Florida is an authentic Indian restaurant with great food and friendly service. It's clean and well managed. I've been going here for 10 years and the food is always fantastic.
-
Love this small Indian place
-
I just moved to Lake Worth a few months ago, and this restaurant has the most authentic Indian food Ive ever eaten! Very flavorful without the intense heat. The staff is extremely friendly, and the food is delicious!
-
I had a wonderful dining experience at Flavor of India. My Chicken Tandoori was beautifully prepared, nice and hot. Vegetables were seasoned to perfection. Serving portion was excellent. The naan is delicious. We were offered a complimentary rice pudding which we enjoyed. Raphael, our waiter was very attentive. I will be back!
-
We came to Flavor of India for the first time. My family and I have never been to a indian restaurant but we were in a small vacation and decided to check this place out. Our waitress was Shraddha she was so kind and helped us to choose our dishes. The food was so amazing. We are definitely coming back when were in town and asking for her again.
-
This is our fourth time coming here and each time has been equally fantastic. Raphael is a great server and we trust him to always recommend something great. Food is so good and flavorful. Definitely a place we will continue to visit regularly.
-
GREAT!! Went to lunch buffet. Small buffet, well worth it..Butter chicken, tender, creamy, super flavor, Chicken tandoori, best I've ever had. Goat, tender, great taste, vegetable pakora crispy, (little cold, but still great!) ( we arrived after 1 ...) Naan was served at the table piping hot and buttered, yummy...interior a little aging, but I will definitely go back.
-
Came during a weekday lunch and they were offering a buffet. it seemed mostly focused on vegetarian options with some chicken, and they offer a free dish of naan. i opted to order off the menu as i was craving lamb saagwala, which was good.
place seems to host for celebratory events. parking is available up front and the location is wheelchair accessible.
-
Best affordable Indian in town
-
Flavor of India should be way busier than it is. But it is also nice to dine at a restaurant where you don't have to listen to people's conversations sitting next to you. The Taj Mahal beer is VERY tasty, for my entree, i ordered the Curry Chicken, with some garlic bread. I grew up in the New York City, so believe me, i know a great place when i attend one. Flavor of India has it all, all the Staff couldn't be nicer, the food was terrific. To top it off, they have an outside bar as well, with Karaoke on Friday nights, hosted by Jackie, who is an amazing singer.....very fun! I will certainly be making many future visits to this location.
-
Everything was excellent!! Great food, and authentic!! We will be going back !!
-
Loved their food excellent service
-
Best Indian food in south FL. An absolute hole in the wall. $14.95 bottomless buffet every day is an incredible deal.
-
Loved the buffet! Delicious food at such a great price!
-
Highly recommend!! First time here. Rafael was great and very friendly! Food was amazing!! Will be back for more!!
-
Good food for the price , they change a little with food flavor but come on people, for the price you pay , worth the money
-
We really wanted Indian food since our move from Orlando. We enjoyed the ambiance and the service from Rafael. He was very attentive and knowledgeable. The garlic cheese Naan was flavorful and so was the rice pudding that had some lemon zest. We got the lamb curry and chicken korma. we asked for medium heat but didn't feel the heat and the meats could have been seasoned more. overall our experience went well!
-
The food is delicious with good quality meat. The staff is welcoming and service is great. We went recently for my husbands birthday and our server Rafael overheard that it was his birthday and brought out a complimentary delicious dessert with very elaborate presentation. So thoughtful!
-
Awesome service and great food our server Rafael did an outstanding job.

The best

I went to Flavor of India for the first time last week. I am not familiar with Indian food, but I know I like curry. I was looking for something hotter than Caribbean curry. I walked in and asked to look at the menu (as if I knew what I was looking for. LOL). Jafar greeted me, listened to my story, and guided me through the entire meal. He let me try a few different items that I had never tried. When the curry dish I ordered was not spicy enough (we both knew this was an experiment), he added more spice. It was SOOO GOOD! I loved finding my perfect spice level, learning what to order, and trying items from the menu that were new to me. He was an amazing host, listened and accommodated my tastes, and took the best care of me. I HIGHLY recommend!! I will definitely be back!
Thank you, Jafar!! -
Today was our 4th trip to this wonderful restaurant . Rafael served us each time. You cannot get better service in any restaurant.
Food was fresh and delicious.
Rafael was very personable and attentive. His recommendations were right on point.
A must go place if you like authentic indian food! -
What a flavor!!! Our first time trying the buffet today, & we had a taste sensation! A great variety of dishes, hot Naan bread basket, & wonderful dessert & fresh fruit! Over indulged!

Every time is unforgettable. Great selection of delicious dishes. There hasnt been anything that I tried and didnt like. The service is always amazing. Rafael goes about and beyond every time. 10/10!!! Love this place and will recommend everyone to try it too.
-

-
Food was incredible. Will be returning at least once a week now.
-
food and service 10/10 workers are very kind and food never fails to be delicious. this is my third consecutive day going here
-
Amazing food. One of the best places Ive tried so far. Naan bread was so fresh.
-
Unexpected and surprisingly good Indian food for this part of town.
Had dinner here with a group and got to try everything and it was really good. Not the best Indian I've ever had, but entrees definitely done well and some of the best flavored naan I've ever had.
As for spice level, they either water it down or can't create really hot vindaloo, even after being asked, which was my primary reason for docking a star.
Got to try:
Veggie Platter (13.95)
Naan Basket (15.95)
Palak Paneer (16.95)
Chilli Chicken (17.95)
Chicken Vindaloo (17.95)
Chicken Korma (18.95)
Aloo Gobi (15.95)They provided free papadam with accoutrements while we waited.
The naan basket came with cheese naan, onion kulcha and peshawari naan. The sweet naan was really good. The cheese naan was perfect for dipping into the entree sauces. The Chilli chicken probably was my favorite dish flavorwise, but it along with the vindaloo could have been spicier. Everything else was made well, fresh, and tasted like you expected.
Service was decent and the decor interesting, but the food is definitely the highlight here.
-
I love the place the food and the employees are very friendly
-
Amazing vegan options. Good service by Rafael.
-
Best restaurant in this area!! Definitely should try buffet its just $12.95. Rafeal gave best service. 100% Recommended 5/5

I live and work in Palm Beach, the technics and flavors this place has developed are om par with anything on the island.
-
Great authentic Indian food. We ordered the Tandoori platter and it was enormous!
Also had delicious saag (spinach) pakoras. Some garlic naan bread to round out the meal. Highly recommended. -
Outstanding Flavor to every dish. Never to crowded and the staff is very courteous. Affordable Health Insurance Plans7.com. Affordable Life Insurance - LifePlans7.com

No frills, quiet restaurant, with sleepy service. But please do come for the food. I have come twice now for the lunch buffet and both times did not disappointment. Very flavorful food with rotating options - all at an extremely reasonable price. Highly recommend!
-

-
Clean restaurant! Food is so delicious well seasoned and plentiful. Buffet prices was reasonably and derives was really good. We will definitely be back soon!
-
Good food
-
Their lunch buffet is open to 2pm! And it is amazing! I've been trying to find places everywhere doing this and I think this is the only one. Flavor is great (not super spicy though), there are lots of different options and I could probably eat here every day of my life if it came to it! . I think the buffet comes out to around $13 after tax, but honestly it's worth every penny and more.
-
Food was very tasty
-
OMG! The food is so good. My husband and I live in Mississippi and we order Indian cuisine on every trip that we take and this is one of the best that we have had. We had it delivered and everything was still hot when it arrived. The chicken curry and Naan are amazing. My husband ate and after going to bed he got up and ate more, he said that her couldn't stop thinking about it. Thank you for a memorable meal. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely eat here again.

I was delighted at discovering this place. I ordered Lamb Madras, chicken soup, and the spinach & cheese samosas. I was very happy with the spicing on the curry of the sauces, and the samosas were so good with the chutneys. The soup came fresh and hot, and honestly one of the most delicious chicken soups I have had.
-
Great Food and Great Service @
-
Good restaurant!
-
Ordered take-out and the food tastes great, but 4 stars because I really feel like the entrees are too small for the price. Also, the rice container is bigger than the entree container. I ordered 4 entrees to share between three people, and we probably only needed 2 rice portions, and wed still have leftover rice. The flavor is really good though
-
My first time. Nothing fancy about the outside or inside but thats good. I was so excited to see a buffet again. Everything was very delicious. Heres my problem: the service wasnt bad, it was in a coma. I was the only guest from 12-1 and I felt like the servers were trying to be nice but the lack of interest was disappointing. Will I go back? Probably just for take out.
-
Absolutely amazing food and fantastic service. Very clean environment. Super glad we went out tonight. Will definitely come again soon!
-
Great restaurant, great service never a complain, great and great food!!! Bravo!!!!!
-
Excellent food! Friendly service! You wont regret trying this spot!

-
Most wonderful atmosphere. So glad we stopped in.

Ever since I moved to boynton beach, this is the only Indian restaurant I've ordered food from and it goes without saying I love it. Tandoori chicken and goat biryani is my favorite from their menu. The best Indian restaurant in Lake worth area.
-
I have eaten here on several occasions and this is easily my favorite place for Indian food. Not once have I had a bad meal here. Every time I eat here or order to go, the food is prompt and the staff is always friendly. Highly recommended.

We're repeat customers who have been frequenting this restaurant since it opened. We visited in person frequently prior to the pandemic, and look forward to returning in person! Meanwhile, we've been depending on delivery. Always arrives earlier than the estimated time, well packaged and just plain delicious. We love this place!

-
Food was incredible and the service was great. Went out of their way to please us.
-
Wonderful Indian cuisine! have eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants in cities with a lot more options, but Flavor of India never disappoints! The lunch buffet is delicious. I don't eat meat and there are plenty of vegetarian options. Their Mahkani Dal is the best! The samosas, tikka masala (I it order with paneer), aloo gobi, and a mango lassi are on my regular takeout list from here. Even during the pandemic, their food remains fresh and delicious!
-
Because everything is just right. Special thanks!
-
Ive always wanted Indian food and I saw the reviews for this place so I thought I would give it a shot. Best decision of my life! The food was better than I ever imagined. The butter chicken here is to die for. This is definitely going to be somewhere where I eat much more frequently.

-
$$$ but very good.
-
My preferred place to go for Indian food. I like the buffet a lot. Have been going there for years
-
Very good indian food.
-
My husband ordered uber eats again tonight. Actually, he orders uber eats from this restaurant 3 times per month and picks up once a month. Last week, he ordered and asked for extra spicy which in fact it was and tonight he ordered spicy and when it was delivered, the butter chicken sauce was darker than last week. My husband loves spicy food! But tonight his meal was comparable to an inferno. He threw away his food because it was inedible. This review is solely based off the spicy level. Other than the heavy hand on spicy level, we will continue to patronize this restaurant because their food is delicious!
-
Delicious! I stumbled across this place taking a detour home! I bought the Chicken Karachi and Chicken Marsala. So flavorful and tender. I went back the next day and got it again. Needless to say Ive gone 4 times in two weeks.
-
Food was very tasty
-
Pleasantly surprised at the variety of entrees. Plain interior dinning area but the food makes up for that shortcoming. The tandoori and vindaloo entrees are aromatic and spicy. The Naan variety basket is excellent. Very reasonable prices and staff very cordial. We will return again.
-
Great service and even better food
-
Super friendly staff!
-

This restaurant has been our go-to when we have a craving for Indian cuisine since 2014. We have eaten in and ordered takeout and have enjoyed them both equally. I especially cant have a meal from here and not order the Mango Lassi and garlic naan. Very satisfied repeat customer.

4 yrs ago had a bad experience over delivery which took 2 hours and never arrived so latter on had a chat with the owner and manager who happened to be people who I knew. So got everything sorted out and ever since I have been going with my good friend rob, who is a typical New Yorker who actually never had Indian food. Now he is hooked on it and actually we try to go there at least every alternate week for buffet on Tuesdays cause it is on point. Don’t take my word for it but try it, and if it was not good then I’ll pay for food. I am not advertising for him but actually guaranteeing that food is just amazing.

They are following covid 19 guidelines. Everything is super clean, if you sit down they space out customers by leaving tables empty in between.
The food is as delicious as always. -

FLAVOR is 1000% right at this place. Uber eats during the pandemic was delivered quickly and accurately. It was all fresh and hot. The chutneys! Wow. Every dish was incredible. Well deserved 5/5 stars
-
I celebrated my nomination last night in this great restaurant. I am glad to say that we enjoyed a delightful evening and the venue was undoubtedly one of the reasons for that outstanding gathering. The waiters collaborated in a gorgeous way, the cuisine was delicious and my buddies were extremely delighted. We shall absolutely return for more celebrations. thanks very much.

When I lived in Lake Worth, the buffet at Flavor of India was an adventure I embarked on weekly. If my stomach could handle it, I might have visited every day. The selection isn't the biggest, but everything they offer is fantastic! The servers are always friendly and on-point and the price is on the high side of reasonable. The only Indian place that compares is a 45 minute drive.
-
Food is always amazing and the staff are wonderful. Their lunch buffet is an outstanding value offered every day.
Their fountain soda system has been broken for months and haven't gotten it fixed. I hate paying for overpriced bottles of Coke.
The decor all around could use a huge updating.
Another issue is that a gentleman introduced himself as the owner, come to find out he is not. I don't like being lied to and I'm unsure of his motives other than to build distrust.
-
Food was delicious! Service excellent! I especially loved the fresh Naan bread with all the different kinds of fragrant dishes to choose from. Best buffet I had in years, will come again! Also they do take-out!
-
My friend and I have tried just about all the "Indian Restaurants" around the area( we treat each other to birthday lunches). I've lived in this area for many decades and knew the restaurant was situated on a span of US 1 in Lake Worth that has little traffic. The food and service was superb, especially Akter who made sure everything was to our liking. I know it's a little out of the way but it's worth the trip!!
-
The food is consistently fresh and tasty, staff members gives fantastic service. I love how neat it is and character. Will come back again.
-
Surely a spot worth stopping by, the food is good and fresh, the costs are affordable and it is consistently neat there. Keep up the good work.
-
My favorite Indian restaurant of all time! Lots of variety and super friendly staff! They even have a special for two in which you get an appetizer, three entrees, and dessert! This place can't be beat!
-
Great place to eat I highly recommend . Kat was our server and she was great. Kat provided excellent customer service as well as gave us great suggestions and knowledge on the food we were getting and how it would be served. I'll definitely be back when I have that craving for spicy Indian food that I cant pronounce lol
-
Wonderful buffet! This is the most authentic Indian place in Palm Beach tamarind sauce makes your mouth water! The staff is incredibly friendly and you feel at home!!
-
First time ordering food here, and delivery at that. Delicious, authentic and attention to detail. A little pricy, but definitely worth the splurge! I have eaten at many Indian restaurants over time. One in particular, Ganesh, was my favorite go-to restaurant in Iwakuni, Japan. Since then, whatever Indian restaurant i went to was nice, but could never match the flavors I was missing until now.
Their food is top notch, and this is an understatement. Even with it being delivered, my good was still hot, and the garlic cheese Naan I got was PERFECT! Usually. I would expect it to be cold and and little dry. This bread was quite the opposite. As if they had cooked it in the car over here! Tender, buttered and garliced to perfection.
The only slight issue was the Mango Lassie was a little strong for my taste. Almost too much mango, and not enough yogurt. Bur then again, I love mango. I'm just used to a certain type of way my drink is made. Nothing wrong with a little change here and there. Also, some restaurants put ice in the mango lassie which I HATE! It destroys the drink. This didn't have ice, which I can appreciate.
Oh! And I forgot to add photos. I was too giddy with happiness at my food that I woofed it down without a second thought.
Thank you Flavor of India on Dixie Hwy. I will be back!
-
Very good. Nice flavor and pleasant service. Haven't been in a long time, will visit more frequently.
-
Omg first timer here! It was amazing! Don't let the outside scare you off, there's a beautiful dining room inside. Anika was our server and she was great. The tikka masala was everything I wanted it to be. The vindaloo was on the spicy side but very good. I highly recommend coming here.

I've only gotten delivery but this place is on point. Everyone is Indian who delivers or answers the phone so they are legit!!
We ordered vegetable curry which comes with a ton of jasmine rice, garlic naan, buttered chicken and tandoori shrimp
Flavorful, spicy, really perfect food!
I have to go eat there at some point. I'm just too lazy to leave my house when you can order through yelp!

Fantastic Indian food in quiet, low-key restaurant on Dixie Highway. Situated in the semi-forgotten area of Dixie Highway, between Forest Hill Boulevard and Lake Avenue, in Lake Worth, Florida, lies a gem of a restaurant. "Flavors of India" offers delicious, savory food, flavorful sauces, authentic Indian cuisine at reasonable prices. Highly recommend.
-
On our way to Orlando we stopped by to try the lunch buffet (open until 2:30pm). With great reviews and great price ($11.95) it looked promising. From the outside looking we got a bit scared (small, plain, white wooden trailer like building didn't look like a 4-star restaurant) but once we were inside it looked pretty nice.
They had 3 chicken dishes, 1 lamb dish and 3 vegetarian dishes, and also nice selection of salad bar (I don't like when they mix salad with onions and tomatoes, you end up with soggy, onion-y salad.. here everything was fresh and in separate bowls). The only downside was desserts. I wish they had Gulab Jamun (as most Indian restaurants in Canada offer) but here they had only Kheer (Indian Rice Pudding) that I don't eat due to high dairy content (plus, I don't like the taste of it).
The food was pretty good, their naan bread was good, Butter Chicken (4/5) was nice and flavourful, Chana Masala (3/5) was a bit bland (missing spices and salt), also their yellow Lentil Dahl (3/5) was missing taste.
Bottom line, pretty decent lunch buffet for $12. Not the best I have had but good enough. I would come back. -
This is probably my favorite Indian place and they DELIVER. We've tried multiple dishes and we are never disappointed. My husband especially loves the biriyani. My favorite is the chicken korma with naan. It's nice to have choices and pleasant service when you place an order.
-
Did not expect to find such awesome Indian food in this location. Everything was great, will definitely return. Some of the best curry I’ve ever had, very complex and flavorful.
-
We have eaten here several times over the last two years, and had an excellent meal every time. The menu is diverse, the service superb; and adding to the enjoyment of the meal is that the restaurant is quiet...which is a rarity in this day and age. Highly recommended.
-
First let me say that our server was very nice. I loved the lamb boti and the samosas were almost the best I've had! I would give it more stars, the food was excellent, but the place is badly in need of a make over. It looks dirty and the bathrooms are atrocious. With such delicious food its sad that the interiors are not given the same love as the food.
-
Driven past it many times finally decided to give it a shot. It may not be much to look at but the food is absolutely delicious.
Pros: Reasonably priced, wide range of tasty dishes.
Cons: Looks a bit dated. Maybe not the place for a first date, but a good place to go with other foodies. -
Our first time here! The food is very good. The ingredients and food seem to be higher-quality compared to other restaurants. There are 8 selections of warm Foods. 4 veggies and 4 Meats (chicken and goat). The price for lunch Buffet is $12. The locations is in a remote area. It is a surprise to me that with such good food, but not many shows up for lunch. We will definitely come back for more! Mostly because of the excellent naan bread.
-
This restaurant has the best lunchtime buffet in Tucson.
Lots of choices for vegetarians, and the coconut bars are sublime. Highly recommended!
-
Delicious food, very friendly staff and always clean! The food always looks fresh and they have a buffet until 2 or 3pm. Ive tried 2 other similar resteruants locally and this is my favorite yet!
-
We are happy with our visit, we ordered Palak Paneer and Masala Dosa, both dishes are great quality and rich in flavor. We also liked our drinks Mango Lassie. Need to mention that service is outstanding. I will recommend this place if you craving Indian food.
-
Please venture into this side of the world to enjoy the Flavor of India! You will be pleasantly surprised of the taste.
Lunch buffet: 11.95 (veggies, chicken, goat meat, and salad)
Dinning room: Elegant decor
Service: Attentive
* Naan bread is fresh, soft, and delicious -

the real flover of indian culture and food.
I really like the butter chicken and veg pakoras ( bhajji). Ambience is good, Clean place. Value for money food. -
What an unexpected find! We did the dinner for two and we're not disappointed! Everything was fantastic!!!!! And the service was fast and friendly! Definitely a hidden gem!
-
I love going here for lunch when I'm up in palm beach county. They have an all you can eat lunch buffet. Of course, it's perfect if you're vegan or vegetarian. The people who work there are very friendly & helpful too. - @MrGrim2daReapa
-
This is my favorite place to order food from. It always comes quickly and it is so delicious! I have had almost everything on the vegetarian menu at least once and never had a bad meal. The hardest thing to decide is whether to get two naans or one! Treat yourself to an extra special dinner at Taste of India!
-
The food is very savory. The service is very attentive. The lunch buffet they offer is worth every penny. You get to try so many different styles of Indian cuisine.
-
If you never had Indian food flavor of India is a perfect place to try out. My wife and I eat Indian food regularly but really enjoyed our experience here everyone was really friendly especially our server cat. We tried a mixed appetizer and enjoyed everything immensely the flavors we're explosive!
-
Excellent cooking, the dishes were a real pleasure. 2 persons can have a very dinner with the veggie platter as appetizer and the vegetable curry mix as the main course. The portions are such that you won't be hungry.
Great service with very nice and attentive staff.
Prices are very reasonable.
They have a few Indian beer options and they seem to have a well stocked bar.

What a beautiful restaurant! I used to come here when it used to be Tree Wings, a restaurant that bit the dust so to speak. I was really in the mood for a ramen but downtown Lake Worth had something going on so I thought that this would be a better choice for our evening out. I am so glad that it came down to this restaurant. The decor was beautiful and very romantic. Sparkling chandeliers and dramatic curtains bring a certain glam to the place.
We came in on a Friday evening and was greeted and seated immediately. The place wasn't crowded at all. We were introduced to our very friendly and accommodating server, Kat. She brought over menus and took our drink orders. They had a full and an extensive bar, which pleasantly surprised me. This place has a larger than most menu. They had items that I never heard of. I got really excited. There was so many things to choose from that I wanted to try everything. Lucky for me they had a dinner for two set menu priced at $54.99 that came with a lentil soup appetizer, three different dishes (chicken, goat, and a vegetarian dish) white rice and the dessert of the day. It was an excellent meal for the amount we paid for it. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. There was so much food leftover we had to take alot of it home. It could have easily fed four people. The total experience was out of this world. A big part of it was because of Kat, she went out of her way to make the evening extra special. I really appreciated that.

I go there EVERY WEEK. Great wait staff and delicious food, always different vegetable dishes every week, Naan, and the standby chicken dishes, always fresh and really good. Condiments to make it spicy if you like it that way (I do). Love their Mango smoothie. I'm so glad they're nearby me.
-

We ordered a few vegan dishes and they wore all super tasty. Our waitress was very nice and our water glasses were full at all times, since the rest of the staff checked on our tables just as much as the waitress did. I will be coming back again, that's for sure!
-
Four stars based on the LUNCH BUFFET. I'm a lunch buffet 'regular' here and for those that enjoy Indian cooking, this is a great place. I have not had dinner, though. The lunch buffet is small (as buffets go) but the food is fresh, tasty and sound. Unfortunately, the offerings don't get changed often enough. Personally though, for once (or perhaps twice a week visits) I do not tire of their repeated offerings. Highly recommend. Pleasant staff. Not crowded. Easy parking and access.
-
DELICIOUS! This has been my first time trying Indian food and i was really impressed. we have been here twice, two weeks in a row. The first time we ordered a spicy chicken and garlic cheesy bread. Today we had the buffet and it was amazing. The prices are affordable and the food taste really fresh.
-
I haven't eaten a lot of Indian food so I can't give a great comparison. I do know that I really like the food here.
They have a lunch buffet during the week that is a great deal. If you're on the fence and not sure if you'd like the food it's a small investment for $12 you can try a variety of items such as: butter chicken, curried meats and Tandoori chicken. They also offer a few vegetarian dishes. Their salad bar could use an upgrade but they do offer variety of sauces that pair really well with their Nana bread.
The employees are always very friendly and right there to answer any questions or refill your drink. Usually not busy at all so a perfect spot for a lunch date if you're feeling adventurous. They've upgraded the decor which adds to the atmosphere. This place is a definite must try! -
This review is for takeout. My overall takeaway (of the takeout!): Flavor of India offers tasty, flavorful food.
My husband and I shared the Malai Kofta and Chicken Korma. Malai Kofta is vegetable fritters in tomato cream sauce; the 'fritters' were rich substantial. The Chicken Korma was tasty, but I couldn't find the nuts and raisins, and 'chicken cubes' kind of says it all about the meat!
Both dishes featured thick, golden sauces with amazing colors!
The vegetable samosas were great, though too spicy for my toddler to eat (he tried!). The shell was crispy but also chewy, a good combination, though slightly over-salted.
I love all the options on the menu, which take us to both South and North India. It's an extensive menu with decent meal descriptions; it was difficult to decide on only one dish to choose!
-
Beautiful, modern, relaxing atmosphere.
Excellent Indian cuisine that doesn’t kill your stomach is a rare find especially here in Palm Beach/Lake Worth, Our food came beautifully prepared, lamb chops, mix grilled and tandoori was delicious and testy, people that work here are really nice, helpful & friendly.
Will come back again ? -
I go there EVERY WEEK. Great wait staff and delicious food. Condiments to make if spicy if you like it that way (I do). I'm so glad they're nearby me.
-
Always Pleasant, nice service, and a decent Buffet which is what we always go to. I recommend it to people all the time and always bring visitors from out of town here.
-
What a new and wonderful experience we had here!!! Its a must go.
-
We ordered takeout. The meat (lamb and chicken dishes) was excellent. Flavors we're good. Vindaloo was not overly spicy.
They forgot one of our sides (Raita) but we'll forgive them this time.
It's only open a couple of weeks. Hope they can maintain the standards. There was only one couple seated when I went in to pick up the food. The owner seemed very friendly.
-
Food was excellent! We ordered the vegetarian feast for two. (There is also a meat version too). Great value and a lot of food. Perfect for those who can't decide and want a little bit of everything like us. Cute chandeliers and pretty table set ups add ambiance. A little hard to find as their sign could use more lighting but worth the search! Love this place and excited to have an Indian restaurant closer to home, especially one this good.
-
New restaurant away from the downtown Lake Worth area. Hope it catches on because the food was quite tasty. All of us had the lunch buffet and all complimented how everything tasted so good, Hot (temperature) spiced well and fresh. Great vegetarian options. The owner came to our table to be sure we were satisfied. We will take our Indian friend here for her opinion but expect it to be "thumbs up".
-
Nice neighborhood addition. Food was authentic and varied and well priced. Just be aware that the food can be spicy. The management and staff are very caring and accommdating. We came in and found a nice quiet table and ate a leisurely dinner. They have the traditional Indian buffet for lunch and we will come for it.
Be sure to try the stuffed nan.
We will be back. -
3.5 stars.
We were in the area, we were hungry, we love Indian food....we figured it was a no brainer.
The restaurant itself is a moderately sized space; there are booths and tables and two TV's that play Indian music videos nonstop that are sometimes interesting but oftentimes rather bizaare to watch. We sat in a booth and I must say it was one of the most uncomfortable booths I've ever had the displeasure of seating myself in. My tushy hurts just thinking about it.
I noticed that the prices may be a tad lower than average for Indian food, which was a pleasant surprise. Service was friendly, they kept my water glass topped off. Always appreciated.
They have your typical Indian appetizers, soups, entrees and desserts but they also have a small selection of Indo Chinese specialties - intriguing!
They gave us complimentary pappadums to start, but these were really spicy, so spicy hubby couldn't eat them, which was good because there was more for me. They came with your typical chutneys, mint, tamarind, and a bright orange one that looked like buffalo sauce but most certainly was not.
We ordered chicken tikka masala (tasty sauce, dry chicken), and the tandoori mixed grill with tandoori chicken (good), chicken tikka kebob (yummy and moist), lamb (flavorful but very tough) and shrimp (ok). We also ordered garlic naan which was excellent. Both entrees of course came with basmati rice which was pretty standard.
So will we be back? I would come back, hubby is disgruntled over the dry chicken. So we'll just have to wait and see how we feel the next time the Indian craving hits, I guess....
-
We just tried flavor of India for the first time and were very pleased. The chutneys were too spicy for us so we passed on them, but the Tandori chicken, chicken tiki masala, lentils and naan were as good as we have ever had. We definitely will be back.
-
This restaurant is truly a hidden gem and I sincerely hope more people find out about it so they can stay open. The food was prepared perfectly and accommodations were made for those of our party who do not tolerance spicy food well. There are great selections for vegans, pescatarians and carnivores. We went for dinner and the prices were quite acceptable (under $15 for shrimp korma). We are planning to try the lunch buffett, but haven't had the opportunity yet. The chairs are a little uncomfortable, but the taste of the food makes any minor discomfort tolerable.
-
I'm am a picky eater but let me tell you the shahi paneer the garlic naan on point! I'm from ny / nj area not on place in nj makes fresh paneer like this guy I was transported right back to India no heavy cream was used ! Amazing and the rice was tasty as well!!
-
This is one of my favorite restaurants in West Palm. Good, authentic indian food. I don't eat meat and have tried several of their vegetarian dishes as they have all been delicious. I especially love the malai kofta. My boyfriend loves the tikka masala and butter chicken. I also love spicy food and if you ask them to make it spicy they do not disappoint! Every time we go pick up food they aren't very busy so I hope they're doing a lot of to go sales. We would hate to see this place close! It's great
-
picked up some takeout, great Indian food, HUGE portions, really nice guys running the place, very happy they opened here in the neighborhood-
-
Great food! Worth the wait .. My husband is from the uk and he said the food here is very close to the Indian food back home ! However if you do come here expect to wait a while for service / food , maybe under staffed? But again 100% worth the wait! Also no A/C so don't over dress!
-
Good Food, nothing fancy about the place. Very Dated, I don't think they believe in A/C because it was very warm inside the restaurant. Banners for the storefront signage and an un-lite parking lot. I guess they run on a low budget. Slow but friendly service.
-
Friendly personal service, great selection of good, most dishes are only $13-$15, & thers a lunch buffet for $9
-
Service was excellent! They even threw in a free dessert with my takeout order. I am a fan of the garlic naan and the chicken tikka masala. I will be coming back.
-
Delicious food and great service. I've especially enjoyed bhartha (an eggplant dish) and palak paneer. Finally, a reasonably priced Indian restaurant. And great service too!
-
Upgrading my review!
I decided to return here last weekend to give it another shot. I had previously worried that new management had taken over, because there were all new faces, and the food was becoming too bland for my tastes.
However, when I walked in yesterday, I saw the same old manager behind the counter, and I also noticed that they had redecorated and repainted the interior. It looks very nice now!
As usual, I went with the lunch buffet, and the food was sensational. My girlfriend and I were raving about the flavors. Everything I tried I enjoyed. Their govi pakoras and dal were out of this world.
This time, the server was very attentive, and I never went long without a refill (a previous criticism). I plan on coming back next weekend and hope to enjoy it just as much as last weekend.
-
We went for the lunch buffet today and thought it was excellent fot a buffet. The saag paneer was delicious. Several other dishes were grwat also but I can't recall the names. For the price and selection, its tough to complain. Also the staff was very friendly. They offered to escort us in from our car because we were waiting out front in the car while it was raining.
-
This is the best Indian in south Florida hands down. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven.
-
Love, Love, Love, this restaurant! Everything I've eaten there from the mixed tandoori platter to the tikka masala and the butter chicken are delicious. The naan is always soft and warm, and the vegetable samosas are amazing.
I'm so happy that there's an authentic Indian restaurant close to my home, and it's nice that the server ad the manager always seem to take a personal interest in our experience there. We've each been given a nice little bowl of rice pudding on the house on more than one occasion which makes us feel appreciated. If there is one thing I could say that could use a bit of improvement it would be the amount of ice that's served with our drinks. I like a lot of ice, and it always seem to get a few sad little chunks floating on top so I have to ask for a glass of ice on the side... (Like England). But apart from that (minor) complaint, it's a "10," and I'm delighted that they're here!
-
Best, most authentic Indian food I've had in south Florida. Totally recommend it. Jaffar was kind, knowledgeable and very friendly. Great food and service and I'll be back this week for lunch.
-
We just moved here from Utah and have been desperately trying to find a new Indian place . Flavor of India was pretty good overall. We ordered the lamb kebab saag and the butter chicken, both of which could have used a bit more flavor, but still tasty nonetheless. The naan, however, was spectacular. Extremely soft and buttery! What was also nice was the customer service. Since moving to palm beach county, I feel like really good customer service has been hard to come by, but who I am assuming was the owner of this restaurant, was very friendly and made to check up on us regularly. Will be coming back!
-
Amazing food!! Love the naan, samosas, lamb vindaloo, and chicken biryani!! It's kind of out of the way, but worth the drive!
-
Vegetarian dinner for two was off the hook, best samosas we have had so far in south florida. Restaurant was clean and service was prompt and friendly!
-
Visit for lunch at least once a week. The service is fantastic, the food is delicious. The lunch buffet has enough variety to keep me coming back. Highly recommend.
-
Went for the lunch buffet. The food was good and there was a nice selection. We will be back!
-
Love this restaurant
Food fresh and delicious
Had dinner tonight with a friend originally from India who lives in London where there are great indian restaurants he had high praise for flavor of India
Great service and ambiance. -
Thank you, fellow Yelpers. Gave this place a try based on your reviews. Got take out on Wed eve and the food was delicious. I tried the paneer pakoras, chicken tikka masala, and palak paneer (saag paneer). The palak paneer was a little different than I'm used to but equally tasty. Generous portions, well-packaged, everything was still hot by the time I arrived home in Boynton Beach. I am looking forward to going back and trying the lunch buffet.
My only complaint is the location is a bit sketchy. They are located in a so-so and very industrial section of town. Auto body shops, lighting and tile stores, pawn shops, etc. Then suddenly there's this restaurant right next to a used car dealership. I got the last spot in the parking lot and yet there was only one party in the restaurant. Very weird.
-
This place is a fabulous little find in Lake Worth off S. Dixie Hwy!
I have driven past this place over the past year & have meant to stop in & try it. Well, tonight, I moseyed over & was happily surprised!
The S. Dixie Hwy between WPB & Downtown is a bit of a mish mash of commercial Bldgs &mini strip mails. It's a bit of a no mans land really so I think most ppl are a bit tentative to try some of the restaurant offerings. I was happy I did!
(Mind you, a guy at Flanagan's mentioned it to a few ppl at the bar one evening so it gave me more of an impetus to try it!)The outside is very simple. It looks like at one time it was a Diner or the like. Rectangular facade with pine paneled interior. They have a few booths and plenty of 4 tops in the DR. It is exceedingly clean. And each table has white linens & glas table top with fan linen napkins. It's quite appealing for such modest bldg.
The two gentlemen were quick to seat me & provide a menu & pour a glass of water for me. They were very polite, friendly & genteel.
I had a Kingfisher beer & some Papadums & relish tray to whet my appetite.
I scanned the menu & decided on vegetable samosas to start & then Chicken Shawala with Basmati rice & Onion Kulcha bread (my fav!).
You can request the level of heat of your main dishes. I preferred mine medium which had a nice heat but was tongue numbingly hot.
I LOVE Veggie Samosas largely bc it's a vehicle for the DELISH coriander benefit sauce! The chiopped red pepper relish & the tamarind is lovely too but I ADORE the
CORIANDER sauce! The samosas arrived first, still hot from the fryer. They were stuffed with potatoes , spices & green peas. YUM!
The Chicken Sagwala & the Onion Kulcha bread arrived about 15 mins later fresh & piping hot!
The Chicken Sagwala was boneless Chicken kebabs in a dish of sauted spinach with tomatoes & assorted INDIAN spices. It came with a nice plate of steamed Basmati rice that was light, & fluffy.
The Onion Kulcha is basically naan bread (very similar to Pita but slightly thicker) & stuffed with caramelized onion. YUM!The entree serving sizes are of moderate proportion. Each entree is enough for 2 women with a modest appetite. Most people order appetizers & several entrees & share ala family style.
The owners have been operating since Oct 2013 so they are still relatively new.
They are open 7 days a week.
Lunchtimes they offer a BUFFET.
Dinner is from the menu ala carte.
They have TAKE OUT & DELIVERY SERVICEI HIGHLY ENCOURAGE you to try FLAVOR OF INDIA. Everything about this place was fabulous. It was a lovely dining experience!
I will DEFINITELY be back & will be telling all my friends how great this place is....
-
Fabulous food, and the best garlic nan I've eaten anywhere. We'll definitely go here again. We shared 4 dishes and each one was delicious.
-
Walking in, I must say I am doubtful I will agree with the Yelp communities perspective on this one. I am here at 5:30 to get takeout and standing in front of two gentlemen for a good 3 minutes before they would acknowledge my presence. Mind you, I am the only other person in the building.... The only reason I'm not speaking up at this point is because I'm in such shock that I can be standing less than two feet in front of these guys without them making eye contact. Then, upon acknowledgement from these 2, I get the "please hold finger" while he checks his voicemail! After clearly being disappointed by his last voice mail, he hangs up and grumbles. THEN he takes my order. I'm quietly steaming like rice atm.... if I weren't picking up food for several people I would walk out now..... Not the warmest of staff present at the moment.
..... finding out there's been a change in ownership recently. Seriously wondering if I was looking at old reviews.
Ordered 31 minutes ago... waiting quietly for food and it is authenticly hot as hell in here. Still no other customers...
OK, back home to try the Chicken Mango ($12.95). Now I am a foodie, but haven't had Indian food in a very long time. So I can by no means consider myself an expert on Indian food, but this is freaking awesome! (He said in KungFu Panda voice). This is a Great alt if you're not into curry or peanuts. The Naan was extra but very fresh and I could just eat that for days.
I'm not sure exactly what happened today when I was in the restaurant but it felt like the twilight zone. That said, I will definitely be ordering again soon...
Now to the bathroom.
-
I've ordered takeout from here twice now, and both times it was on point. The meat samosas were very good, and the chicken tikki masala... My god, the masala! Extremely flavorful and well spiced, though not overly so. All white meat chicken in a in a creamy, spicy, delicious sauce. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.
-
Save your money. They took 3 hours to deliver 1.9 miles away! Unfortunately I was stuck in the office, and couldn't pick it up. Terribly handled and I won't waste my time again.
*Follow up*
The owner called me to apologize for the problems. He was very gracious, and definitely made up for any shortcomings of the initial customer service. I will give them a try, and update this review after I get to try the food.
**Final Edit**
The owner made sure I got to try the food I ordered yesterday which I never got, and it was great! Above and beyond customer service, and Flavor of India is very aptly named. The food is very well done, and I will definitely order again! -
Fantastic food and service! My husband and I ordered Lamb Tikka Marsala, Lamb Mango, Garlic Naan, and Mango Lassi. All were fantastic. This is by far the best meal we've had while in Florida this week. The indoor setting is a bit on the fancy side so I would highly recommend this for a date night.
-
I cannot say enough good about this place. Food is halal. Service is great. Bathroom was clean. The waiters are beyond respectful. Extremely accommodating. This is the only Indian cuisine I've found that I like in Palm Beach area.
Keep up the good work! -
Good food. Good people! I ate a very flavorful goat dish and had a nice cold beer afterwords. Would definitely go back.
-
My boyfriend and I am visiting from DC and wished we found this place sooner. This is a hidden gem in West Palm Beach, Florida! We walked in 30 minutes before closing and was still given excellent service without feeling rushed. Atiq was wonderful and very helpful. He's easily the number one server on our list. Atiq will give you the greatest recommendations. He definitely went above and beyond the normal service we are used too. I would recommend the onion nann bread it really complimented the Chicken Tikka Marsala. Ask for ATIQ! You definitely won't be disappointed.
-
After living in India I am a huge critic of Indian food! And this place hit the sweet spot!! Absolutely delicious! The basket of Naan was amazing! Chicken Takka Was incredible! So happy to of found this gem!
-
A year and a half later, and the food is still great! We ate way too much, as usual. Chicken Vindaloo, Tikka masala, garlic naan, veggie samosas, and a beer to top it off. I'm so full.
-
Really classy place. The way Indian food in America should be. I LOVE Chicken Mahkni (Butter Chicken) and it is the way it should be here. Really good buffet, one of the best. Doesn't look like much from outside, but this place is the real deal. $7.99 lunch buffet you can't beat it!
-
So, I'm driving up Dixie Hwy just looking around for some thing healthy to eat when I see the sign, "Flavor of India / Lunch Buffet".
I pull into their easy access, wide-open parking lot, step out side of the car and bam the "F" in Flavor hits me, what an aroma!
Inside the aroma was only surpassed by the ambience, I knew this was going to be good!
I don't know if the buffet is always the same but this was perfect! For example; you know when you order the Tandoori Chicken with a friend and you wonder who gets the legs, forget about it, how about a tray full of Tandoori Leg & Thigh.
Curry Goat prepared correctly, clean saw cut with no bone chips, awesome!
A nice selection of veggie's as well; chickpeas, squash and potatoes-w-eggplant, nice!
And to wrap it all & wipe it all up with is fresh toasted Nan Bread and/or Rice.
There was so much more though these caught my craving! In the spirit of equal time; I don't know how they were last year nor how they'll be a year from now but I can say that this is a gift, as in the present.
You should get in on it, support your local small business while eating home cooked, healthy whole food at the same time. I'll be back next Sunday!!!Decker

my first indian spot in florida since living here. i knew i wanted a buffet style for lunch and i found this place on yelp. seemed to be the only one around. walked in and was very pleased. i was the only one in the place and the greeter was very pleasant while offering me a table and hurrying to get water. then he turned on the music just for me.
would definitely return and recommend based off of this first experience. -
It is so hard to find an Indian restaurant in Palm Beach, unlike Texas. Their food is delicious and hits the spot every-time.
My Recommendations:
-Vegetable Biryani
-Chicken Tikka Masala
-Garlic & Cheese NaanIf you haven't tried Indian food and you are reading this right now, do not hesitate! I wasted 25 years of my life not being "brave enough" to try it, and to this day I can say Indian Food is my favorite food in the world thanks to my friend Shreya Patel!
-
We had a fantastic dinner there tonight. I highly recommend them. The food is so delicious and fresh. Honestly it is in my top three places to eat in the county. The service there is great, thank you Atiq and we'll be back soon.

This is the kind of Indian Restaurant I wish was in my home town. While visiting my daughter in Lake Worth, we decided to try this Indian Reastauant. She and her boyfriend had never had Indian food. We told that to our waiter and he said "Let me take care of it" and boy oh boy did he. Everything he served us was absolutely delicious. The four of us tasted each other's food. We all agreed that it would be fine if we swapped each others meal. That's how good their food was. Usually when my wife and I eat at a restaurant and we taste each others food, we like the other's dish, but are happy we ordered what we did. In the case of Flavor of India, we would have been happy to eat any of the four meals we were served. A couple of the meals we had that I remember the names of are Chicken Tikka Masala & Mango Chicken.
Highly recommended!!! Thank you Atiq, (our waiter).

I was really in the mood for Indian food and thought we would give this place a try, especially since it had good reviews. I have had excellent Indian food in both Philly and New York, so being that I was in South Florida, I was expecting it to likely just be o.k. in comparison. I was pleasantly surprised and delighted. The food was excellent. We had naan with onions and cheese. Delicious! I had Malai Kofta. Also delicious! The service was also great! I am very happy to have found this place. We will definitely be back as there are many other items I want to try. If you are looking for Indian food in Lake Worth, I highly recommend that you go here!
-
Order the number 96 if you're not getting the buffet! There are plenty of options for vegan and vegetarian friends which is why we come. But we stay for friendly atmosphere and serene environment. The staff is super friendly and the food is incredible. Come for lunch or dinner! You won't regret it! :)
-
I really like Indian food and this is the place we always go to if we have craving for delicious naan bread and I love lentil soup. And also big fan of rice pudding. The only thing that I don't really like is decor inside, but it's not really big deal as long as we order to go
-
My boyfriend and I just finished having dinner there , we were going to another Indian place but the last couple of times we were there, the food was not good, this place is our new home for Indian food and is closer to our house than the other place , everything was wonderful my boyfriend had the lamb curry he said it was amazing and he was able to cut through the big pieces with his spoon , just to give you an idea of how tender it was, and he said the curry was perfect I had a vegetable dish don't remember the name but it was number 96 on the menu, bright dark orange in color it looked like it was going to be spicy but wasn't I was happily surprised reminded me a little of Korma, but wasn't ,we had garlic naan to start out naan is our absolute favorite bread and it's especially wonderful when it's done right and asked for a curry sauce to dip the bread in ,he asked what curry we wanted and we asked for the chicken curry ,again wonderful, and also gave us this thin bread crisp things with a little trio of sauces a red pepper and onion chutney a mint sauce and a tamarind sauce all other wonderful .will definitely be back ...we both highly recommend this place it was wonderful
-
Tonight was Date Night and Flavor of India made it one of our best dates ever. Before we even ordered the food, the service was welcoming, sincere, and generous. The music took me back to my childhood, the aromas were so comforting! We ordered the vegetable samosas for our appetizer, then the tandoori platter and chicken biryani for the main course. Accompanied by Garlic Naan, raita, and a well-priced bottle of wine, our meal was delicious. On our way out, Atheek shook our hands and thanked us for visiting, a gesture you never see in any restaurant and confirmed our amazing experience. Thank you to the servers and chefs....we will definitely be back! :)
-
We are new to the area and so far all places we have tried have been wonderful! We love Indian food and had a very hard time in Dallas finding a good place to eat. 4 days in Lake Worth we found one just 2 miles from home! Wonderful customer service and really great food! Very happy customers. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. We will be regular customers.
-
I went here for the first time with my boyfriend and the food was so delicious!! The environment is so inviting and warm. I also had my service dog with me and they were very accommodating. Our server Atiq was great! We will definitely be back!!
-
The place was amazing!!!!.....the vegetable korma was off the chain, I ate this naan with rasins/cherries in it and the rice was vegetable biryani was amazing aswell listen guys please come here it is worth it every single bite.......
-
Our waiter was Atiq and he is a very cool and funny. We really liked the food and the place. Restroom was not as clean as I expected. All in all great experience.
-
I'm loving this place. Mostly because of the great service I receive every time. I'm normally in the area on the weekends checking in with parents and siblings so the Sunday buffet is ideal before getting back on the road.
Buffet style so there is a little bit of everything for everyone. And I love that there are many vegetarian options. Repeat favorites" Vegetable Koma, Tandoori Lamb Chop, Curry Goat, Paneer Tikka Masala, Aloo Mutter, and Gulab Jaman. I could easy have 5 of these things. And top the meal off with a super sweet mango drink.
It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food and service is a reason to come inside.
-
Great customer service and the food was super tasty! I had the vegetable pakoras which were good but I've had better. The butter chicken and chana masala were both great. Looking forward to trying more dishes next time.
-
Another amazing and enjoyable time at the flavor of India. The food is amazing! The service is amazing - one of a kind place honestly! But fair warning I kinda don't like how pushy the service can be. I didn't finish the lentil soup and I was questioned about 3 times on if I disliked it. I ordered the feast for two, so I knew a lot of food was heading my way, so I was simply pacing myself. But to be questioned about why I didn't finish it - at first I thought it was kind but by the 3rd time a little annoyed. However I know it's just out of kindness from them. They are very proper here. The food is seasoned to perfection and always comes out steaming hot! My drink never got close to halfway empty bc. Of how on top of things they are. For dessert instead of only treating us to two of their sweet balls bc we had three people they gave us three so I thought that was beyond kind of them and made us feel appreciated. Overall I love this place and it will always be my to go place whenever I have my cravings
-
I went to their lunch all-you-can-eat buffet for $10, with a selection of about 15 items. The food here was AMAZING. Usually at buffets there's a couple things that are mediocre. Nope- everything tasted great. Lots of meats too. I think given the quality and sheer quantity of the food, it's the best $10 I've spent, ever, out to eat. I really don't understand how they make money.
I normally only post negative reviews when I want to complain :), this is my first positive review of a place, Flavor of India deserved it though !
-
This is the best Indian restaurant that I've found in Palm Beach County, moving past Indus. The atmosphere at Saffron may be a touch prettier, but this is a pretty typical Indian dining room. What isn't typical is the exceptional service, and the exceptional menu. They offer a less touristy cuisine and some dishes like curry goat that are often a bit harder to find. The quality of what came out was beautiful. I test Indian places on how they execute things that often become afterthoughts. Pakoras were amazing. Naan bread, Chapati, and Roti all perfect. Love a chef who sweats the details. The pakoras were perfectly fried, and the filling was not the usual leaden mass of dry curried potatoes. The curry goat was excellent, and when I asked for HOT I got spicy without it being so brutal that you can't taste the other flavors. The tandoori mixed grill was well prepared and perfectly spiced. On flavor, only Arun's in Coconut Creek has this place beat by a hair, but with 8 seats, it's more of a takeout place. If you're looking for a great meal and classic Indian ambiance, this is your spot for dinner!
-
Very good Buffet. They had quite a good selection to choose from which isn't always the case with buffet style. My hubby and I tried a little bit of everything from Chicken Tikka Marsala, Curry chicken, cabbage fry, Chilli chicken, and then some dessert, and of course Rice and Naan.
We will definitely be going back. One thing that I wasn't too thrilled about was the location, didn't seem to be the best area. But that won't stop us from going back. -
This is my first time here. Atik the waiter was awesome, he ordered the lamb, garlic naan, a potato appetizer, and sweet donut tasting dessert for me. I can't remember the names of the dishes but being the foodie that I am, I will try any recommended dish. Everything was good, I got full quick! Dinner time is the best because the food is guaranteed fresh! I will be coming again and might be able to remember the name of the dishes. Great for families, dates and girls night. The setting and decor is nice, smelled good walking in.
-
Great local spot! Lake worth is starting to attract some great food! Recently had Indian food at Sanaa restaurant in Disney and this food is comparable! We all know Disney's attention to detail! Bringing my wife here one night!
Very nice people! Very good food! Relaxing music!
-
I was hesitant at first about the place since we were the only ones in the restaurant but based on the Yelp rating we decided to give it a try. The buffet was much better than I expected and had numerous vegetarian selections. I would certainly go back.
-
Being from NYC I always enjoy Indian food. This place isn't a fancy upscale place and the portions can be bigger, but the food is always delicious and the people are nice.
-
The food was great, fresh and hot! The service was nice as well. If you want to eat authentic Indian food than this is the spot to go.
-
Best chicken tikka marsala around and the naan basket is fantastic too.Great atmosphere and they deliver.
-
The service is great and the food is excellent. Nice ambience too. Will definitely come back for more.
-
Great food. Regularly order take out and sometimes sit and eat. Dine in Service is kind of weird and strange in a fun way. Highly recommend this place.
-
Amazing food, we had the vegetarian dinner for two. The owner is so kind as are the staff. The service is attentive and friendly. A real gem in lake worth.
-
Delicious! The food is always great. Their buffet during the day is also amazing, and a good deal. The butter chicken is my favorite. Service is always very friendly and attentive.
-
I went there for the lunch buffet with a family member. While it was your typical indian fare (though with a pretty wide selection of meat and vegetarian dishes; 10 or 12 if I remember), each dish I tried had great flavors. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive, though it wasn't very busy at 1:30 in the afternoon.
Their menu seems to have a lot of variety. The decor and atmosphere is not much to write home about. Not bad, just kind of plain, which is fine. I'd definitely recommend this place for someone who hasn't tried much (or any) Indian food before. A "crash course" for the uninitiated, so-to-speak.
-
One of the best restaurant I ever come across been an Indian best service best quality value for money all the best
-
Well I must say my husband and I are snobby when it comes to food. We love the best of the best. We always go to Taj in Deerfield Beach the food is exceptional there. However we moved and we're looking for a new fabulous Indian restaurant closer to us. So we decided to give it a shot. THE FOOD WAS AWESOME!!!
The staff is friendly and they recommend dishes if you are looking to venture off your routine path. We LOVE THIS PLACE. I would recommend it to all my friends who love good eats. And they deliver .. -
Honestly I'm from new York so I'm used to diversity of foods. Also diversity of types of foods such as.multiple options of each type of food. I just had the most unreal chicken and shrimp Tikka massala dinners. Best in the area
-
Great flavors, super friendly staff. Love ordering takeout from here. Always arrives within estimated delivery time
-
Had the lunch buffet, everything we tried was delicious specially the butter chicken and rice puddin. Can't wait to try other things from their menu.
-
Very pleased with the FLAVOR of India. Flavorful chicken vindaloo, perfectly cooked rice, friendly atmosphere with prompt service. First visit and expect to return. Thank you!
-
Buffet was small, but tasty (butter chicken was to die for!). Issue with taking our coupon. Would probably go back, but we prefer Indrus.
-
Great Indian restaurant! Don't be fooled by the often empty parking lot. I've not been to their buffet but I understand it's great. We've been there for dinner twice since we discovered it (via Yelp). First, the service. Imran, our waiter, impressed us so much that I thought was the owner. Courteous, friendly and polite as people from India so often are. Helpful with the selection from the menu and the advice about the level of spice. BTW, mild is mild but there is a very significant jump to medium. Stay with the mild if in doubt. The complimentary Papadum with the corresponding Chutneys are the best we've ever had. Mulligatawany soup is exceptional as is the Dal soup. The Mix Tandoori Grill was a bit dry but tasty. The lamb specialties are very good. Choose the one you'd like based on the added ingredients to the dish. We didn't have time for desert but we are going back soon...
-
Went an had the buffet. Service was excellent and the the food was great. Everything was very fresh and flavorful. I will be back for sure to enjoy some more.
-
I went for the lunch buffet today and it was fabulous! Excellent food, wonderfully spiced and exceptional service! I will definitely be back!
-
I hate Indian food.. Seriously I always did.. thought they put too much spices in their food and it kills the actually food they are trying to enhance.. BUT... Flavor of India is different..
We had a black out and it was getting dark and I couldn't cook dinner so we decided to try it since it is just a couple of blocks away and we didn't want to drive too far for food.
Since we are basically vegan when we go out, we had a number of their vegetarian items.. Aloo gobi and an eggplant dish and veggie "meatballs". They were all great. The Naan was fresh and warm, couldn't get enough...
The server was very hospitable and helpful.
We will definitely be back.. -
I was so excited to find this so soon after moving to the area! Food is delicious and authentic. The lunch (and dinner) buffet is a MUST. We are hooked! We have and will continue to frequent this establishment.
-
The real deal.
I have an addiction to Indian food. I have worked in an Indian restaurant and try and eat Indian food wherever I travel to.
I just moved to the area and this was my first meal eating out here. I read the reviews and was somewhat sceptical, I needn't have been. Everything was fresh and the attention to detail was incredible. Probably one of the best Indian meals I have eaten. If you got served this in a Michelin star restaurant you'd be pleased. I ain't kidding.
If you know Indian food, you'll agree, if you don't know Indian food you'll think its great anyway.
Lamb bhuna, dark, intense and most important of all, balanced. Something that is missing from a lot of restaurants. The rice pudding with saffron was sweet, not overly, and perfectly balanced with, you've guessed it, earthy saffron.
They even gave us a bowl on the house of home made mango ice cream for my kids to share.
Fantastic food, fantastic service -
I've lived in the area my whole life and seen the giant sign for the restaurant, but never went it. I just recently moved even closer and decided to give it a try one night when my husband and I could make a decision on where to eat. I've only ever had Indian food one other time, and my husband a handful, but we both love spice.
When we walked in, the restaurant was pretty empty, maybe 2 other tables. We were instantly greeted and sat. The staff was very attentive and polite. Not really knowing what their dishes are, we asked our waiter for some suggestions and how spicy their food was. I ended up getting the chicken phall at a medium spice and my husband got the chicken jalfrizi. (Sorry if I'm spelling this wrong.) We also got an order of garlic butter naan bread. We we're both fighting off a cold with stuffed noses and our food opened all of that right up. Honestly, I haven't been this excited about food in a long time. It was so good my husband ate almost his entire serving. I believe our bill came out to about $35, which is completely reasonable for how much food we got, seeing we made 3 more meals out of our left overs, and that's just because we ran out of rice. They've definitely made some regular customers. -
We enjoy Indian food when we travel so this was a great find. The buffet is always a good choice if available. The restaurant was clean and well organized. The staff was attentive.
-
have eaten inside several times, and had delivery several times.
the food is always good. the last few times it has been fantastic.
ordering delivery over the phone is easy, they are polite and knowledgeable, no language barrier.
dine-in service is always perfectly accommodating and polite. you can tell the staff cares to ensure great service, which you don't really find at restaurants at this price point, nor at american chains.
food:
my favorite dish is lamb madras mild
the tomato is soup is wayyyy to spicy for me.
the muligatawny is thinner than what i've grown accustomed to at taste of india (in wpb on okeechobee)
the naan is fluffy and chewy with the right amount of char and thin spots
(we usually order entrees with lamb or beef in coconut or tomato or eggplant based sauces, no apps, and a beer.) -
I wish we had tried them sooner. The food was amazing, the restaurant was clean and the service was helpful and friendly. Before we were finished eating we were already planning our return trip. Now that we've discovered this amazing food, we'll be back often.
-
Loved it! We had the buttered chicken medium and goat curry medium, both were great! The only negative part was when I asked what dish they recommended and the lady was reading off the menu and the other girl said something like she's asking what dish is better. The original lady said I know I'm reading and than said this one has tomatoes in it, which I was already aware of. Than they both walked away before we ordered, but the man, who I presume is the owner, was great and the food was super tasty. Both our dishes were about $15 and we have enough for another meal. We found it by chance on a motorcycle ride. It looks a little sketchy on the outside, but if you like Indian food, I think you'll enjoy this!!
-
This is my favorite place to order food from. It always comes quickly and it is so delicious! I have had almost everything on the vegetarian menu at least once and never had a bad meal. The hardest thing to decide is whether to get two naans or one! Treat yourself to an extra special dinner at Flavor of India!
-
Really good Indian food buffet with a delicious assortment of dishes. My favorite was the butter chicken - so rich with delicious spices - perfection with the rice and naan bread!! Very dated atmosphere but clean with kind and attentive service.
-
This is hands down my favorite place this far for Indian food. Occasionally, I have the opportunity to work out of the West Palm Beach office and I always consider this location for lunch! In fact, there are times I've travelled from Boynton for some of their delicious food!
The weekday buffet is more than worth the $10 cost. The assortment of foods is always fresh, flavorful and plentiful. The service is great. I enjoy chatting with the staff as they bring over fresh naan to the table and refill your glasses in a timely manner.
Some of my favorites are the goat curry, the masala and ALL of the chutney sauces. I've ordered for delivery and while it's available, it's through a 3rd party delivery site and takes too long.
I encourage you to try them out. The prices are great, the food is even better. You will not be disappointed.
Some advice, it's easy to pass so begin to slow down as you approach the location and look for parking in the private lot.
-
You have to try the spicy chicken curry masala dosa and garlic mozzarella bread. I highly recommend the chicken fried rice especially. Best I've had in the lakeworth and west palm area. My favorite delivery service hands down.
-
I was very impressed with the lunch buffet. The food tastes better than many high-end Indian joints in Florida. I particularly enjoyed the Tandoori chicken, butter chicken, chicken korma, alloo mattar, goat curry (the best!), the turnip fry and as a special treat the carrot pudding! The waiter said they have new dishes every day. Great staff and easy to get in and out. I only wish there were more shaded parking. I will definitely be back for more!
-
I love the food here! Garlic naan, mulligatawny and lamb samosas. I am the only diner here right now, but it's 8:45 pm. I usually get take out, but decided to see what the interior was like. The dining room is formal but lacks ambiance. Maybe some candles on the tables. But it's very clean. I never had mulligatawny, I will get it again. Everything is sooo fresh tasting! Samosas aren't oily and the naan is heavenly! I think it's a little pricey but I have never been let down here.
-
Try a piece of Indian food here.
My girlfriend and I tried the Lunch buffet. It was typical Indian food and very delicious. There was soft Indian music and a dim lighting, perfect for a couples outing. It only costs us about twenty dollars and the service was great and attentive. We plan on visiting in the near future. -
We loved everything we had from the Mulligatawny soup, Garlic Naan, Lasuni Gobi and spicy chicken Vindaloo dish. Very flavorful food and wonderful service, we'll be back! Can't wait to try their other dishes soon!
-
Don't let the outside fool you. Inside is nicely appointed with soft music playing. I love spicy food and they made my dal super spicy perfect. The roti and achar were very good as well. The staff is very friendly. Don't forget to save room for the home made rice dessert.
-
Wow! Loved the food here. We got the vegetarian dinner for two and it was a ton of food, and we love to pig out. We had to take leftovers home, which was great because everything was so delicious. They give you crispy bread with sauces. Two samosas, and then three large bowls of diff. Stuff. And a large bowl of rice, you also get dessert! It was $39 total, Loved this place. The outside looks kinda sketch but the food is great!
-
Delicious food! So glad to have a great Indian place in Lake Worth. The vegetable samosas are always hot and tasty. I usually get the chicken korma or tikka Marsala and both are tasty. Very reasonable prices are very reasonable. If you like Indian food, you should definitely try them.
-
Food was great, although a bit on the cool side as delivery took over an hour. Would have given 5 stars if I had gotten my food sooner.
-
We always go out of our way to drive down to this Indian restaurant. The Sunday buffet is DELISH. the service is unbeatable... all of the staff are so kind. Butter chicken with naan is my go-to and it is the best in south Florida by far.
-
Very good! Don't let the parking lot scare you it's great inside, sweet people and the chicken vindaloo blew my doors off!
-
We have been looking for a good Indian place closer to home and I think we've found a winner.
The area it's located in is not the greatest, but everything else is and its closer to Boynton than our other go to Indian place. Some of the interior pics on Yelp made it look rather meh, but I think they have updated it a bit since those pics and it's better now.
However none of that really matters because I'm just here to eat some freaking lamb curry! That's exactly what I did, lamb curry, rice and garlic naan and my gf had the butter chicken. Food came out super fast and the naan was fresh out the tandoori... best naan I've ever had. The lamb curry was perfect and so was the butter chicken.
The service was also amazing our server was super nice and was constantly making sure we had drinks, extra rice etc. It really felt like you were having dinner at a friends house. For dessert we had donut balls (I forgot what they are called) which were delicious, warm and sweet but not overly sweet. Plus the prices were very good.
We will definitely be back!
-
This place is awesome! I just had the chama masala and it was super yummy. I ordered take out and I got there maybe 15 minutes after ordering and it was ready for me :) will definitely be ordering again!
-
First time having Indian food and hands down this place is AMAZING!!! Indian food just became my favorite food! Our server Imran was fantastic and fun! I will definitely be visiting Flavor of India many more times in the near future! Great experience 5 stars all day.
-
Like most reviews said its not in the greatest area. If this place was further out west they would do much better because their food is unmatched very floavorful and fresh. I have had Chicken tika at many Indian places and they are hands down the best I ever tasted. Friendly staff and great food keeps me coming back
-
Came to Flavor of India after reading the positive reviews. The food and service is outstanding. I loved seeing a variety of options on the menu. I definitely recommend trying this place out. We ordered the tikka misala with shrimp, tandori mix grill (also comes with lamb chops-yum yum ) goat vindaloo and goat roganjosh. I wouldn't suggest getting the goat dishes though. Great dishes but too much bone and not enough meat.
-
Best Indian food I have tried in Florida! Very authentic and at good value too. Service is great. Once you try it, you definitely want more. Thankfully there is a buffet which has great selections compared to other restaurants.
-
Hey urban you can pick it out and I do it tomorrow tutoring ya for us hey hey man what I ya need me you know I uyfur
-
moved from Orlando and this was the first place we went to for a meal
The place was not difficult to find
we reached there at around 2 pm hoping to get some buffet. I had zero hopes since we reached at the end of the buffet time (usually restaurants don't serve fresh food at the end). As I entered I just saw one table full which made me think I was right
I was totally wrong!!!!
The food tasted excellent. all the curries were on point
To test if they make fresh food i ordered naan at around 2:25 pm. To my surprise the naan was freshly made and everything felt homely
Customer service 5/5
Food 5/5 -
The best food I have tasted in a while. I have had their Biriyani, dosa, butter chicken and sizzler platter and everyone of those was amazing.
-
Super fast delivery and the food was excellent. I will be ordering from here again. I loved it
-
Amazing Indian cuisine! So happy with my experience and my server Ronny was so Informative and patient with me! Highly recommend lamb samosa
-
Great food. I come here about 1xmonth and it is always amazing. Chicken vindaloo (medium spicy) and the vegetable samosas
-
Just relocated and miss this place like crazy! Butter chicken and chicken tikka masala with garlic naan are my top recommendations. Delicious :)
-
I got chicken maderas spicy with garlic naan, all in a it was really good for delivery. The food was hot and the chicken wasn't over cooked. I could have gone extra spicy, so if you like a lot of heat, I would recommend it. The portion was perfect for 1, actually the naan was enough for 2 people to share.
-
We ordered delivery and the food came early and was perfectly prepared. What a nice surprise. We will certainly order again. The Beigan Bartha is AMAZING.
-
Read a previous review that said to order the butter chicken and the chicken tikka masala w/ garlic naan, decided to try it delivered ... wow very impressed! Mmmmmm! Delicious.
-
Always consistent quality. This is one of the few restaurants that LISTENS when you tell them you want Indian Spicy! I'm on fire :) Great job Flavor of India!
-
Food & service was fantastic. Got the garlic naan and cheese to start (basically naan pizza, delicious). And then chicken madras. Choose your spice level. Comes in a coconut cream sauce which was so good. Ordered another side of naan (regular) to go along with my chicken (white rice comes with the meal). Everything we ordered was so good & the staff were so friendly. Instantly one of our new favorite places to eat.
-
Down the street from my house so it's great to have Indian food so close by. The buffet is your best deal price wise, the food is delicious but when doing take out the portions are small for the amount you pay. Too pricey just to get a ton of rice and not enough meat!
-
Pleasantly surprised. Yelp recommended FoI for delivery and the food was fantastic. Not giving it 5 starts though bc the driver couldn't read my directions on where my apartment was & I had to go down the street to meet him. Either way, food is to die for.
-
Amazing food and flavors
Prepare to lose track of your tastebuds and arrive in a world of flavor and perfect spices.
The overall look of the restaurant is old but the food really makes up for it.
Perfect for lunch and dinner delivery.
7th time here and counting
-
BEST INDIAN FOOD IN TOWN
Amazing food, fantastic service. Friendly, and delicious. We came late for lunch, and they still served us. The waiter even brought out more food that was already cleared from thr buffet. I will definately return, and highly reccomend this place. I will make flavor of india my first stop for indian cuisine in lake worth. -
This is Best Indian Food in this Florida

Went for the lunch buffet, but they take extra care making sure your food is fresh. The staff was very nice. Definitely going back!
-
Awesome. We recently moved to the area and found them on GrubHub. Decided to order several things and was not disappointed in any of it. Had it delivered and was right on time.
-
CAN'T LOVE THIS PLACE MORE! Literally the best Indian food outside of the actual country of India, and maybe even then. Chicken curry is out of this world, and the service is friendly i love the people in there and everyone i tell loves this place as much as i do!
